If you installed RO to C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO in a over-protected operative system (Win Vista, Win XP SP3), you will need to fix file permissions in order to not to have to run the patcher as administrator.

1. Locate your RO folder and open its properties
   
2. Go to the “Security” tab, then click “Advanced”
   
3. Go to the “Owner” tab and click “Edit…“
   
4. Choose your username from the list, check the “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects” checkbox, then press “Ok”
   
5. Close the Properties window as suggested in the message alert, then open it again (as in step 1)
   
6. Go to the “Security” tab, then press “Edit…“

7. In the window that pops up, click “Add…“
   
8. Press the “Advanced” button
   
9. Click “Find now”, then choose “Everyone” from the list that appears. Confirm with “Ok”
   
10. Make sure all the checkboxes are checked for the group “Everyone”, then confirm with “Ok”
